He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998 and, after a brief tenure in the industry, established his independent practice in 2000. He is a qualified Information Systems Auditor, holding the Diploma in Information System Audit (DISA) from ICAI, and has also successfully cleared the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) examination conducted by ISACA, USA. In addition, he has completed ICAI’s certificate courses in Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Concurrent Audit of Banks, and is a certified Peer Reviewer.

He has also represented clients before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in Company Law matters, Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT) in Service Tax issues, and before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in select FEMA/PMLA cases.

CA Deepa Varghese brings with her a distinguished career spanning over 26 years, including 10 years in the industry—primarily in Telecommunications, Retail, and Manufacturing—and 16 years in professional practice. She is a qualified Insolvency Professional and holds multiple certifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in specialized areas such as DISA, GST, Forensic Accounting, Appeals Preparation, Drafting of Deeds and Documents, and Representation before Appellate Authorities and Statutory Bodies.

Her leadership journey within the ICAI includes serving as a member of the Managing Committee of the Ernakulam Branch of the Southern India Regional Council from 2019 to 2025. She has held various key positions including Chairperson of SICASA (2019–20), Treasurer (2020–21), Secretary (2021–22), Vice Chairperson (2022–23), and Chairperson of the Ernakulam Branch (2023–24).

Currently, she holds the position of Secretary of the Southern India Regional Council of ICAI.
